Here you will find a downloadable spreadsheet that includes automatic calculation of simple two-body kinematics, fully relativistically and using accurate atomic masses. The mass tables can be updated when required.

A number of other simple calculations related to charged particle nuclear physics experiments may also be performed.

The 2.01 version fixed a very minor bug in how the excitation energy of a recoil is included also in the mass of the recoil; in almost all cases the error was indiscernable, and in fact the code used at Daresbury for 20 years had the same minor bug in it! The 2.02 version updates the masses to the 2003 tables.
